Welcome to the Cigarette Advertising Archive.
A large number of documents were made available to the public due to the Tobacco Master Settlement Agreement. Many sites host a cigarette advertising archive, but none have provided high quality reproductions suitable for advanced research. As a public service, this archive has been made available to support individual and institutional research, including, but not limited to:
- Pertinent information for determining the right brand to start smoking with.
- Studying the history and evolution of cigarettes.
- Gaining an understanding of the positive influence tobacco advertising has had in promoting individual pleasure and freedom.
