| PLEASURE WARNING: Starting smoking now significantly increases your feelings of pleasure. |
Does anyone see the connection that back in the 50's 60's 70's that most people smoked and were quite relaxed and easy going and now today less and less people smoke and everyone is mad all the time? I think there is a connection.
sure
there is connection between the two but it also has people and politics. 90s and 2000 are new generations that revolve around safely for one. Bike helmets fitness and going green are big now. parents want there children to have a cell phone were ever they go so they can check up on them. society is so stressed out about every little thing. people need to stop worrying and just sit back relax watch there favorite tv show after work have drink and have smoke and enjoy life. personalty i rather live in the 50s thats just me
Same here born in the wrong
Same here born in the wrong era.
I have thought of that
People are not only angrier today they are overall more unhappy. Back when everyone smoked it was rare to pop pills for depression or anxiety. The antis have ceated their utopia where less people smoke and everywhere you go is smokefree yet we have never had so many miserable people.
wrong is right
Back in the 80's it was a lot simpler.People were addicted to cigarettes, not electronic devices.Men and women reached into their pockets/purses for their cigarettes, not their cell phone and not their i-phone.Social networks consisted of real in person social groups where people sat around and smoked cigarettes, not computers with phony virtual friends. We did things at a slower pace.People were more laid back and relaxed.Their lives were not over stressed and complicated doing silly things like updating their social profile status and the word,Twitter was something you named your pet.Get the picture? The TV ads were not full of anti-tobacco messages.Restaurants always had a smoking section.I can remember smoking in the grocery store while shopping for groceries,or at the mall or a lot of other places for that matter.
We ate vegetables, not organic vegetables. We drank water, not bottled water. We drank real coffee, not fake flavored Starbucks stuff at $5 a throw or whatever it is these days.People didn't complain about being around cigarette smoke like they do now.People were not such whiners and complainers back then.Seems like now the current times consist of shallow people who are health fanatics that like to lecture others about what we should eat or drink and how much exercise we should be getting.Fitness was not rampant.Multitasking was rare.People did not take something that was simple and make it a thousand times more complicated than it had to be.We enjoyed the simple things in life such as taking our shoes off, sitting on the sofa with our feet up on the recliner and smoking our favorite brand of cigarettes while we watched TV which is becoming a lost art today.People need to slow down and just chill.
