Newport M Blend?

Recently I came across someone mentioning Newport M Blend, a new brand extension of Newport. I haven't seen it stores in my area and details are scarce. So, if you know anything about it, leave a comment or visit the forums (http://www.smokingfeelsgood.com/node/23).

Very interesting, I still have yet to see those in any stores in the Chicago area. They must be doing a limited test of selling those cigs in different parts of the country than here, and haven't had done a national release of those yet.

Yeah, i neva heard of these "new" Newport M's. Maybe I'll hear of them if they ever get released as a national brand. I wish they still made Newport 120's.
These cigarettes are sold
These cigarettes are sold all over PA. They are smooth and have a little more flavor than the regular Newports. I only found out that they aren't sold everywhere when I moved to CA. This sucks I really like the M blend and I can't even find them online to buy them.

im from connecticut, and i was driving trough penn, when i came across these, i usually smoke new port 100's but decided to buy a pack of these turns out they are amazing....so i made sure i bought a whole carton before leaving penn.....unforunetly they are all gone i need to go back :(

im from wisconsin and recently my friend went on a trip and brought back a pack for me because he knew im a longtime lover of the newport brand i had one just yesterday and they suck compared to normal newports i think there wasnt anyflavor to me. so the newport m brand didnt compare to the normal kings i thought but they are decent and i would smoke if i had nothing else

Yeah, its probably just in PA right now. We are like the beta testers of the smoking industry. back to the topic though, They have a good smooth flavor and I enjoy them a lot actually. If your ever in PA grab a pack and try it out for yourself

Well, these were plentiful in PA before but 3 of the places I knew of that I could buy them from have discontinued them because there wasn't enough demand. In fact, after today I have nowhere left to go to buy them (and wouldn't you know I am down to my last pack). I'll have to call the company's hotline and see if I they are sold anywhere in my local area. Of course, I can only call Monday through Frinday from 8am - 5pm and Monday is Labor Day. :(
Love Newport M Blend!!
I live in PA outside of Philly. I tried these smokes when they first hit the market in PA and I absolutely LOVE them however just as Anonymous stated they have quickly left the area, I was told by several store owners they were discontinued; however I was traveling thru Allentown PA stopped at the service area and yes they have them, and as far as they know they will continue to sell them, as the location get people from all over Newport M Blend probably sells well there. Hopefully Newport will put them back in most stores.

These cigarettes were run in a trial in PA and Georgia. They have since been discontinued as of January 2009 and Newport Reps collected the remainders and destroyed their stocks as of the end of November 2009. These cigarettes are gone. They were my favorite and now I'm having a terrible time finding something similar.
Lawsuit
It may have something to do with the Lawsuit from Phillip Morris about the use of the letter 'M' on the packaging. Lilliardo might repackage the 'M' Blend using a new name, so keep an eye out for something new from Newport that features the Light/Medium Tar/Menthol blend that the 'M's' had.
Missing the "M" Blend !
I got hooked on these when they first came out and I really, really liked them. I was (and still am) really upset that they discontinued them. I was told that they didn't sell well so that's why they discontinued them but a lot of my friends and other people I know and myself smoked them. Plus every time I went to buy them there were out of stock and I would have to go other places to get them and even some of those places had a hard time keeping them in stock. I bought the last few packs that were in a store around here (Pittsburgh, PA) the middle of January and I'm having a really hard time finding something similar or even something I like to replace them. I really hope Newport will either start making them again or at least something similar.

They don't make them anymore they dicontinued them in 2009 you will be lucky if you find them places and if you do they are hella old. They are a mixture of newport light and medium tobacco. Your better off just sticking with regular old Ports
