A lot of online smokers have said (on that linked site) negative stuff on FSCs. I agree FSCs taste like crap. I'm lucky I haven't been experiencing the cherry end of my cigs falling off at any time while I smoke. They're more like fire START cigs if the lit ends easily fall off I know that problem never happened with non-FSCs.
There's also the common problem of the cig not staying lit with the case of FSCs. You gotta re-light a FSC 3-4 times before you can smoke the whole thang.
The govt tried getting people to quit smoking by raising the taxes on cigs constantly, and there's actually a new fed tax increase on tobacco thanks to this program related with kids called SCHIP.
But since raising the tobacco taxes didn't stop people from smoking, the govt thinks making FSCs that taste like crap and are clearly not fire-safe cigs to begin with will make more smokers quit.
More smokers are actually switching to rollies and Native American cig brands thanks to the yucky fire-safe cigs.
Yes they suck
I hate them they give me a sore throat and make me feel sick. I'm shocked the site hasn't mentioned them. What you should do if you still want to smoke is go to a cigar or tobacco store and buy a cigarette injector tubes and "PIPE TOBACCO" which is relabeled to avoid the ryo tax that obama and let's not forget congress passed. There're videos of how to use the injectors on youtube. In general 6oz makes a little over a carton for like 10 dollars, and they come in 5,6,14,and 16oz. The first carton costs you 20 bucks with the injector and the rest are like 10-15 bucks a carton. They take a while to get used to the taste of real tobacco and then you practice for making cigs where you end up wasting a lot of tubes at a cost of 2 cents a tube and then you're set. A couple of brands that make pipe tobacco for cigarettes are Largo, Criss Cross, 4 aces, Red cap (not No.7), and The Good Stuff. You can use any rolling tobacco like American spirit, Drum, PS shag, etc. too if you want to pay the taxes or prefer it. Some of them are harder to inject though like AS and Drum. Be ready for pipe tobacco taxes to go up and if they do stock up on like a year or twos supply. You'll also know how to make your own cigs if you decide to grow tobacco.
