I'm 34, and have smoked a little here and there for years. Just recently decided to work up to 1ppd, and it's been...well, pretty awesome. Reds for the win. Great with coffee, bourbon, and beer.

Underagers: I can't tell you what to do, but remember that underage smoking is illegal and, if you happen to be pulled over by a cop, they usually will take your pack and lighter, even if you're not the one being pulled over.

The Marlboro Red 100 has got to be the perfect cigarette. Full flavor, and with the slightly longer filter you can really whale away on 'em. Sexy packaging, too.

For me it's a 70:30 balance between full flavor Reds 100s or B&H full flavor and a variety of strong menthols. I go back & forth between Reds & B&H--about equally strong but I kind of prefer the slight "bite" of the B&H as opposed to the smoother Reds, most of the time anyway! Most Camels are too smooth and kind of muddy for me, definitely prefer a slight sharpness of flavor with the rich overtones in the background--like a B&H.

But 30 or 40% of the time I like to change up to a good strong menthol, where I will go from brand to brand but again favoring the slightly "sharper" ones like Marlboro Spec. Blend 54 100s (a current fav. in a menthol) or Newport 100s. Occasionally I like a pack of B&H menthols, but the menthol often is just too overwhelming. Awesome sensory experience, but when I go back to my favored reg. B&Hs or Reds, the yummy tobacco flavor is dulled for awhile--much more so than with say a Newport. As far as looks, I prefer a good cork, but that preference is more for the attractive smokers I watch! I always stay with 100s for the longer pleasure and greater enhancement of the late drags where the tobacco has absorbed more of the good stuff from up front than in a short cigarette. When it comes down to it, I love cigarettes!!

My first cig was Virginia Slims light menthol at age 10. Now my favorites are Marlbolo light menthol 100s, VS full flavor menthol, Virginia Slims full flavor regular, and VS menthol lights 120's

I smoke Benson & Hedges Premium. I am 45 now and started smoking at 15 so I have definitely tried other brands, but I always come back to Benson & Hedges. I find the taste and feel of the smoke to be the perfect mix for me.
